Iowa Governor to let Felons Vote

Gov. Tom Vilsack of Iowa announced yesterday that he would restore voting rights for all felons who have completed their sentences, ending what advocates for voting rights had called one of the most restrictive disenfranchisement laws in the country. Funny, I wonder which party ex convicts would support more. Right, the one that helps them commit their crimes. This is one subject that liberals could never argue against. It's a simple fact. Criminals are Democrats and most Democrats, I would say, are criminals.

Every state except for Maine and Vermont (Democratic strongholds) prohibits felons from voting for some period after their convictions, but the states vary in how and when they restore voting privileges.
