Arlene Knocking On Our Door

Tropical Storm Arlene, which quickly formed in the Caribbean, is approaching the U.S. mainland. The storm now has winds at 65 miles per hour and the low pressure associated with it is decreasing. This of course means that Arlene is going to strengthen somewhat before land fall. Whether it will be a hurricane or not is anyones guess. I just wish I had the money to go down to the Gulf and ride out the storm. I think it would be quite an experience. Anyone who wants to complain about it should simply move.

Think it's a little early for hurricanes? It is. Since 1900, only 8 percent of seasons have produced a hurricane up until June 10. (Thanks Tom).
