South Dakota Bans Abortion, Setting Up a Battle

Gov. Michael Rounds of South Dakota signed into law the nation's most sweeping state abortion ban on Monday, an intentional provocation meant to set up a direct legal challenge to Roe v. Wade, the 1973 United States Supreme Court decision that made abortion legal.

Let me ask you something... I am assuming (could be wrong) that you personally oppose abortion. Why is that?

When it comes to abortion, I'm more moderate than conservative. I don't believe in killing a child just because having the kid will change someones lifestyle. You know, that's what we're really here for; to produce children, not to eliminate them. However, in the case of incest or rape, I don't think any woman should go through the pain of having the child of a monster.
